?When I Was Young? is a book about lives of senior citizens living in the Dingle Peninsula when they were young. These stories cover many different topics such as school-days, past-times and life during the war. We are fourth year students in Pobalscoil Chorca Dhuibhne in Dingle and we put this book together for an Enterprise Competition in our school. We went to the senior citizens? houses/day centres and we spent time with them listening to their stories and recording their information. From these stories we complied this book. From the outset we thoroughly enjoyed working on this project, gathering the many nuggets of information and spending time in the joyful company of the participants! All of the people who shared these stories with us were very co-operative and patient, and we thank them most sincerely for sharing their wonderful stories with us.
This book is second hand, and while you may not get the same publication/version/reprint/edition shown in the picture it will be the same author and title.
Removing existing stickers from a second hand book may damage it, so we refrain from doing so.
Even if the picture shows no price stickers on the book they may be there on the copy you receive.
All of our books are in very good condition.
